On Saturday, March 1, 2008, we are inviting you to join us for the second annual
SNICKERS® MARATHON® Energy Bar marathon, half marathon and Fun Run in Albany, Georgia.

Fueled by the people who know how to keep you going strong, this event takes place during a perfect time of year.

Weather Conditions:

• Average February High 64° Fahrenheit
• Average March High 72° Fahrenheit
• Average February Low 38° Fahrenheit
• Average March Low 45° Fahrenheit

We pride ourselves on giving you an extraordinary experience, with plenty of Southern hospitality! From first-timers to veterans, our runners are our top priority. The marathon and half marathon course is filled with supportive volunteers, cheering spectators and the chance to make great friends. What better way to accomplish a lifetime achievement?

Along with a fast, flat spectator-friendly course, we offer the following divisions:

• Marathon run (26.2 miles)
• Marathon for wheelers and hand cyclists with disabilities (26.2 miles)
• Half-marathon run (13.1 miles)
• Half-marathon competitive and non-competitive walks (13.1 miles)

• We also offer a 1-mile fun fun and fitness walk.

Proceeds from the SNICKERS® MARATHON® Energy Bar marathon & half marathon will help build an in-house Hospice care facility and educate our region about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. For more information, click here.
