Race Timing

The timing device for the Albany Marathon, Inc. is the ChronoTrack B-Tag - a single use bib tag, provided by Event Tech. Timing tags will be distributed at the Expo or with your runner packet.

Remember: NO TAG, NO FINISHING TIME! Timing tags will be attached to your race number.

What is a B-Tag?
The "B-tag" is a light weight disposable timing tag which will record a runner's official time, beginning when a participant crosses the start line and concluding as he or she passes the finish.

Please ensure the following in order to receive an accurate time:

Race bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso

Race bib is unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)

Race bib is pinned in all four corners

Race bib is not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)
